Community Center Rental
Rent a piece of history! Built in 1954 for the Carterville High School, the Community Center continues to be the heart of Carterville. Conveniently located at 209 E Hall Street, Carterville, Missouri, the Community Center is located within minutes of Carthage, Webb City, and Joplin.
Rent the community room and kitchen, the gym or the entire venue for sporting events, parties, conventions, and more. Hourly rentals are available throughout the week with hourly or full day rentals available anytime.

The community room is adjacent to the kitchen and includes (3) 6’ round tables and 36 white chairs. Kitchen amenities include tea and other drink dispensers, coffee pots, microwave, refrigerator, chest freezer and serving windows. Additional café seating available in the adjacent hallway. The hallway is wide enough to accommodate a buffet line

The gymnasium is perfect for concerts, church events, sporting events and conventions. The newly laid floor is 50’ x 84’ with bleacher seating for 500 people. The 22’ x 11’ kitchen area with serving windows to both the foyer and community room is perfect for concessions or meal prep for that special event.

Community Center Rental Rates
We are pleased to offer our community center for your next event or gathering. Our updated rental rates are as follows:
- Hourly Rental: $30 per hour
- Full-Day Rental (10AM-10PM): $350 for the entire day
Deposit Information: A deposit equal to 50% of the total rental fee is required to secure your booking. For example, if you rent the center for a full day at $350, a deposit of $175 is required. This deposit is fully refundable following the event, provided there are no damages or excessive cleaning required.
