Employment with the city

The city is currently full staffed, but we are always happy to accept applications for Public Works Laborer, Police Officers, City Council or City Hall Staff. 

Applications  may be filled out in person, submitted online to customerservice@cartervillemo.com or returned to the Carterville City Hall, Monday through Friday  from 8:00 a.m. to Noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.  The City of Carterville is an Equal  Opportunity Employer. 

We are always actively accepting applications for all positions in the city. Even when we have no vacancies, we will retain completed applications for no less than 6 months from the time we receive it.
