Carterville Police Department

The Carterville Police Department serves a population of approximately two thousand citizens. The department handles all calls to service in our city and serves as primary back-up for four area communities. We are trained to respond to all medical calls, conduct our own investigations, patrol our city, take all calls for service, and work accidents on the two busy highways going through our jurisdiction. We are located at 1200 East 1st Street just next door to City Hall.
